Wizard x Sorcerer
Kaeldur — Thu, 09/17/2009 - 20:54
Basically this is the question: How to make them different in L2?
Well, what I've been thinking is the following...
A Sorcerer can learn the skill with only SP, no Spell Book needed. But, then again, he'll learn much less skills. But, then again again, he has more MP (since the spontaneous casting thingamajigger must apply to the Wizards as well).
Now .com
Kaeldur — Thu, 09/17/2009 - 20:17
Yay! We're now L2DnD.com!
Thanks to our new sponsors (http://www.hospedagempro.com.br/). Remembering we're still sponsored by LineBR (www.lineagebr.com) as well...
And keep on planning this Dungeons and Dragons mod!
By the way, I've been testing DDO (Dungeons and Dragons Online). It's pretty cool, but character movement isn't that awesome... Lineage's engine (Unreal rox) is way better, if we can make this mod work nice it'll be a heck of a game!
I'm glad to see the project has had a relatively good acceptance at L2J. =)
Site update

Semi-Automated Skill XML Generation
Kaeldur — Tue, 09/15/2009 - 08:22
I will try now to build a command to generate the base XML code for a skill. Soon more fields will be available to fill in for each skill to help make the possible XML information more complete!
Skill Tree Building for Classes
Kaeldur — Tue, 09/15/2009 - 08:21
I have built an automated code for filling in Skill Trees for the classes. Hopefully this will make the process a bit faster.
I have also improved the code so that you don't need to input them in the exact order they should appear, the code will sort them out following these rules:
Character Learning Level => Skill Name => Skill Level
Class Guide
Kaeldur — Tue, 09/15/2009 - 06:04
Classes were built having in mind a quick formula. The L2 character level is divided by 4 (up to third job) to determine what equivalent level would be in D&D. For this reason, ideally new skills will be granted every 4 levels and base stat (STR, DEX, CON, etc) bonuses granted every 16 levels (each 4 D&D levels). See the table below...
